Join Annie Carpenter, Ally Hamilton, Brock Cahill, Jerome Mercier, Jesse Schein, Krista Cahill and Angela Kukhahn for a morning of awakening and community!

This 2 1/2 hour yoga class will be followed by refreshments and a raffle of local products and services. One ticket per student will be given and additional tickets can be purchased for a $2.00 donation to the cause.

ABOUT THE CAUSE:

The Canine Cancer Detection Project LA is embarking on a very important project researching the early identification of cancer using canine scent detection. Dina Zaphiris (professional dog trainer and yogi) participated in one of the pilot studies in the field of canine cancer detection. It was in these studies that some interesting findings were made.

Studies have suggested that dogs have the ability to detect cancer earlier than other forms of testing such as MRI, CT Scan, Radiology, blood work, etc. We are committed to studying the efficacy of this amazing new discovery.

The early detection of cancer is paramount for successful treatment and saving lives. We are trying to do research specifically on early detection to enable early treatment.

How does the yoga community fit into this?

As yoga practitioners, we live the life of preventative medicine. Through research and innovative practices we could prevent the onset of a tragic disease such as cancer before it overwhelms the system. Early detection or preventative medicine is the key to surviving and prevailing over such illnesses.

Join us in raising awareness and funding for this cause as well as helping to donate to the continued efforts of these doctors and dog trainers to standardize the methods of training and detection. 100% of the proceeds will go to the non-profit organization specifically for research in canine cancer detection.

A minimum $20.00 suggested cash donation will be used to bring this incredible non-invasive medicine to our future medical practices.
